End of recruitment

According to article 36(3) of the CTR, the sponsor shall notify each MSc of the end of the recruitment of subjects for a clinical trial in that MSc. In cases when recruitment is restarted sponsors should notify MSc through the CTIS as well.

Notifications

  • The end of recruitment in a MSc should be reported in CTIS within 15 days from the end of the recruitment of subjects.  
  • The restart of recruitment should be reported in CTIS within 15 days of the restart in each MSc.
