Decision on administrative appeal
The CCMO assesses whether the appeal is well-founded based on the content (the grounds) of the notice of appeal. If the CCMO declares that the appeal is well-founded, it will overturn the disputed decision by the MREC. Instead of referring the application back to the MREC in order for a new positive or negative decision to be taken, the CCMO will, as necessary, take a new decision on the application itself. The declaration that the appeal is well-founded and the new decision together form the decision on the administrative appeal. If the CCMO declares the appeal to be unfounded, the disputed decision by the MREC will continue to apply.
